Michelle and Kevin were married in Omaha at Stonebridge Christian Church then moved their celebration to Legacy Hall with a few stops along the way! The couple had met at a Super Target so it was only fitting that the bride and groom with wedding party in tow made a stop at the place where it all started! As an added treat, the couple wanted to have their portraits taken at the Joslyn Art Museum in downtown Omaha. Maggie and Monty were married at St. Paulinus Catholic Church and celebrated their reception at the Kimmel Event Center in Syracuse NE. After their ceremony, the bridal couple and their wedding party traveled to the reception in a hayrack after a bubble send-off from the church. At the reception, guests were greeted by a candy bar complete with monogrammed candy bags, the cake table with its five-tiered wedding cake and golf ball groom's cake with personlized golf tees, and elegant table decorations as well as a tulle-draped danced floor - perfect! Plus as an added bonus, the groom and his brothers are second cousins of mine - a fact that we all learned about earlier in the day as a result of a funeral that took place the morning of the wedding. Strange how life takes you from one extreme to another in a matter of hours. Back to the newly married couple! Their wedding and reception were both filled with the love of family and friends - it was a wonderful day that was over too soon! Megann & Randy were married at Steinhart Lodge in Nebraska City surrounded by family. The intimate gathering of family moved to the Lied Lodge to celebrate with dinner and an exquisite cake by Dolce Cakes Omaha. Susie & Rick were married at Community Bible Church in Omaha NE in a morning ceremony. The couple and wedding guests celebrated with lunch and cake at the church then finished off the luncheon with the opening of their gifts and an impromptu basketball game! A few hours later, the party reconvened at the groom's brother's home at Buccaneer Bay for a lively Luau! It was a wonderful day filled with laughter and love - the couple at the center! It was a pleasure to photograph this wedding as I work with the groom and have had the pleasure of getting to know his bride - the delightful, Susie! I am so honored to have been able to witness and capture their wedding day - to be able to see how much love Rick and Susie have for one another - plus be so welcomed into their wedding day (especially at the Luau!!)!
