Cheryl & Dane were married on April 2, 2011 at Faith United Methodist Church in Lincoln, NE. They were married in the church where Dane grew up! The celebration spilled over to Beacon Hills where the newly married couple were surrounded by the love of family and friends - and lots of dancing!! I think one of the reasons I love wedding photography so much is getting caught up in the excitement and emotion of the day. This wedding was no exception. I am so thankful to be able to photograph the preparation and celebration of marriage. Thank you, Dane and Cheryl for allowing me to document your wedding - it was an honor to be a part of your day!
Please enjoy some images from their engagement session as well as their wedding. Here is the link to view all the images from their wedding - https://www.collages.net/consumersite/guestlogin.aspx?furl=-Dane-%26-Cheryl-4.2.2011-808199662

Keaton is the son of one of my cousins - and I have alot of cousins :)!! He recently turned 3 months & I had the privilege to photograph him again. He was only a few days old when I first photographed little Keaton. You know how you have family members that you hold dearer to you than others? Well Keaton's mom is like my kid sister!! We share a sad connection in that both of our older siblings died way too young, so we have been close ever since. I love her & her husband and now their little boy so very much! Please enjoy some images of the newest member of my extended family - Keaton!!

Kelly & Jed were married just two days ago at the gorgeous Lied Lodge in Nebraska City in an intimate wedding ceremony. The couple and their family & friends then traveled south to the town of Humboldt NE. The reception was held at the Ag Building where the bride's mother transformed the buidling into a black & white bridal decorator's dream - it was beautiful! From the elegant bride to her Kenworth-driving groom, everything about this wedding was warm, welcoming, and wonderful. Please enjoy a few images from Kelly & Jed's wedding! Recently, my boss at my day job gave me a project - to photograph two antique typewriters to be used as images in his new office. The antique typewriters have been in his family for a long time & represent how far his company has come from typewriters to highly-sophisticated copiers & computer networks. The two typewriters are Remington & Underwood models. I quickly fell for the Remington - the keys & spacebar are made of wood & the inner workings of the typewriter are completely exposed so you can see exactly how it works - it's beautiful! I'm freak for mechanical things - watching the intricacies of a machine has always fascinated me. Anyway, I thought I would photograph both traditional then key in on the little details of each model. I hope you enjoy the images from my project!
