Kelly & Jed were married just two days ago at the gorgeous Lied Lodge in Nebraska City in an intimate wedding ceremony. The couple and their family & friends then traveled south to the town of Humboldt NE. The reception was held at the Ag Building where the bride's mother transformed the buidling into a black & white bridal decorator's dream - it was beautiful! Amanda & Kyle were married & celebrated their wedding in the Historical Apple Barns in Nebraska City, NE. It was a beautiful warm August afternoon when they exchanged vows & rings then the guests sent the couple off on a hayrack ride with loads of birdseed - I'll bet Amanda is stil picking some out of her hair!!! Photos were taken both at the barns and across the road at Arbor Lodge State Park. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing & eating lots of pie (!!) at the reception. What a wonderful day to be married!

As a gift to their parent's, Greg and Linda's kids surprised them with a wedding vow renewal ceremony and 25th anniversary party at the Lied Lodge Conference Center! The intimate ceremony & brunch took place on a sunny Sunday morning overlooking the hazelnut lawn & Arbor Lodge mansion beyond in the trees. There was much laughter and a few tears shared amongst those attending. I was only there for a few hours but was quickly welcomed into the celebration even invited to sit at the table with everyone for their post-ceremony brunch! Alexis & Rick were married at a country church south of Nebraska City - St Joseph's Catholic Church. The reception was held at the Barns at the Lied Lodge Convention Center in town. The memory of Alexis' father was present throughout the day along with the love and warmth of family and friends that wrapped itself around the newly wed couple. I could not help but be caught up in the tears and laughter! I was once again privileged to forever capture the first day of marriage for Alexis & Rick!!!
