Amanda & Kyle were married & celebrated their wedding in the Historical Apple Barns in Nebraska City, NE. It was a beautiful warm August afternoon when they exchanged vows & rings then the guests sent the couple off on a hayrack ride with loads of birdseed - I'll bet Amanda is stil picking some out of her hair!!! Photos were taken both at the barns and across the road at Arbor Lodge State Park. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing & eating lots of pie (!!) at the reception. What a wonderful day to be married!

As a gift to their parent's, Greg and Linda's kids surprised them with a wedding vow renewal ceremony and 25th anniversary party at the Lied Lodge Conference Center! The intimate ceremony & brunch took place on a sunny Sunday morning overlooking the hazelnut lawn & Arbor Lodge mansion beyond in the trees. There was much laughter and a few tears shared amongst those attending. I was only there for a few hours but was quickly welcomed into the celebration even invited to sit at the table with everyone for their post-ceremony brunch! Craig & Rachel were married at the Lied Lodge Conference Center in Nebraska City, NE on the Hazelnut Lawn and then celebrated their reception inside the West Assembly. The day started with the bride & her maids at the salon, Curl Up & Dye. Before their ceremony, the couple and their wedding party met at Arbor Lodge State Park which made for some memorable portraits! The rain threatened the festivities, but thankfully was kept at bay for the day & night! Tasha & Jared were married in Sully IA surrounded by family & friends then moved their celebration a few miles east to Lynnville IA to the Linden House Bed & Breakfast near Wagaman Mill on the Skunk River. This wedding was special to me as this was the wedding of a family member (Jared). I had photographed his sister's wedding a few years ago (they grace the ENTER SITE portion of my home page - one of my favorite wedding images ever!) and was honored to be asked to photograph another wedding in our family!!! Family or not, this wedding was AWESOME!! The details at this wedding / reception were incredible - parasols, paper lanterns, handmade fans adorned with engagement images from your truly :), guest book signs, a candy table where you could help yourself to lots of pink &orange candies, cupcakes, the best cream cheese mints, sparklers, and so many more - it was a pleasure to photograph! At the center of the day was the couple who have Christ at the center of their marriage and share a deep love for one another.
